Our master bedroom currently has a large ‘sitting room’ attached to it that was an option done by the original builder & homeowner. We’d like to transform it into a separate bedroom, as most of our neighbors have it (including floorplan layout with attachments). What needs to be done is:

1. Frame, drywall and paint the opening from the MBR into the sitting room to close it off.
2. Remove drywall from the outside hallway to install a door (standard bedroom size) into the new bedroom
3. Create a small-medium closet in the corner of the new bedroom (prefer double-door closet, but not walk-in sized).

Related finishing items.
1. Remove ceiling light fixture from the sitting room and install a new flush-mount ceiling fan.
2. Move a few furniture pieces from the sitting room and into the MBR.
3. We have the paint colors for the newly created walls. May need to paint the entire wall to match, in addition to the new drywall area.
