We have demo’d our basement down to the studs, redone the floors, put in new insulation and vapor barrier, and now we are at the point where we want to get the walls and ceiling of each room finished. We just completed our main basement room and laundry room, and now we are looking to finish the small hallway and one of the rooms which will function as a small home gym. We will take care of the electrical and lighting. What we need is:
* drop coffered ceiling panels using drywall in both the hallway and gym room (something along these lines: https://renosemipros.com/diy-accessible-coffered-ceilings/) as all of the plumbing are in these two ceilings
* install louvered bifold door for utility room and paint
* install new door casing around utility bifold door (buyer-provided) and another standard size door that leads into a third room and paint
* finish jamb on gym door
*install barn door (buyer-provided)
*install vertical wide shiplap on all walls in gym and paint
*install baseboard in gym and in hallway (buyer-provided)
*raise (to attach to ceiling), secure, and trim out two cabinets in gym for a finished look
